Weekend inspiration: Stefan Sagmeister on taking a year off

It seems like I keep going back to Sagmeister whenever I need a bit of weekend inspiration - coincidently, the last time it happened was almost exactly one year ago (with this post). I just saw his talk from the latest TED conference and, no real surprise here, it’s a great use of 17 minutes of your time.

In his talk, Stefan argues that everyone should take time off in order to redefine their life/career and explore new possibilities. He talks about his experience in his last two sabbaticals (he takes a year off every seven years of work) and goes through some of the work that emerged from the experience. If you have 17 minutes to spend, take my advice and spend them watching the video below. Have a great weekend.
